Now we’re taking on a bigger challenge: stopping the new wave of AI-powered email attacks hitting organizations today.
Email security is a $5B+ market ripe for disruption. Legacy rule-based and ML systems can’t keep up with adversaries using AI to craft customized, high-evasion attacks. AegisAI is building an LLM-native email security platform designed for this new threat landscape.
The Role
We’re looking for a high-output, curious, and relentless BDR to help put AegisAI on the map.
Your mission is simple and hard: create qualified pipeline. You’ll be the first human touch for many prospects and a critical signal to the market that AegisAI is a serious new player in email security.
You’ll work closely with AEs, founders, and marketing to connect outbound, inbound, PLG signals, and partner leads into real sales conversations.
This is not a “follow the script” role. We want AI-native BDRs who can think, test, adapt, and win.
What You’ll Do
Generate net-new pipeline through outbound (email, phone, LinkedIn, creative channels)
Qualify inbound and product-led signals into sales-ready meetings
Research target accounts and tailor outreach to security and IT leaders
Clearly articulate why AI-native email security is fundamentally different from legacy tools
Partner tightly with AEs to convert meetings into real opportunities
Continuously test messaging, sequences, and targeting — and share what works
Maintain clean CRM hygiene and accurate pipeline reporting

What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of BDR / SDR experience in B2B SaaS
Proven ability to consistently hit or exceed meeting and pipeline targets
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfort selling to technical buyers (security, IT, engineering)
Self-starter who doesn’t wait for perfect instructions
Coachable, curious, and competitive
Bonus Points
Experience in security, email security, or infrastructure SaaS
Familiarity with PLG signals or usage-based selling
Experience at an early-stage startup
Comfort experimenting with AI tools for prospecting and personalization
